                                            Online Opinion Piece-Social Network Addiction
Social network addiction is a problem between people all around the world. Social networking is more than a tool to communicate it can also be harm for the people by becoming addicted to it. According to Cheever (2007) states that “Online social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace have become a big part of many people's lives” by this the author is stating that social networking a now part of our lives because is a new way to communicate around the world. The kind of policy change that I would like to see is to give more information to people around the world about how social networking can become an addiction, because people just subscribe to the social network websites only knowing that is way to communicate with their friends and met new people electronically but they are not aware about that the used of social network website can become addictive. Social networking now in days has been a big impact in our world changing the communication completely. Social networking has been a result of social network addiction were people only try to communicate via a social network website with her friends, families, or any other person by leaving apart the phone, or even communicating and meeting new people in person. I really feel that social networking has change the communication with people around the world and I think they should be used with moderation by giving information about the addiction they can develop by excessive use of it. The course of action that the audience should take is that people should ask for information about how this social network websites can become addictive and also about the best way of how to used them properly . The process that I am asking the audience to do in support of the policy change is to be able to be supportive by encouraging other people to know about how social networking can become addictive or even by using their social network website by telling other people information about the addiction. Also to advocate for information in the social network websites to have some kind of information tab about hoe their websites can be become addictive and to give procedure of how is the best way to used them. Social networking now in days is mostly a big impact around teenagers that why websites need to give information about how by social networking can become an addiction because teenagers are in a very early age and not mature enough that they can easily fall into the addiction.
